BIBLE RULES FOR ALL SCHOOLS

Dear Editor, – Please try and find
For this a little space,
Although it may be thought behind,
And lacking of good grace.

The subject to which I refer
Is much discussed to-day
By good men who are brave to dare,
And not afraid to say.

The Bible is the rule of life,
No matter what the creed;
It tells us what in truth is rife,
And also what all need.

“The secret of our greatness still,”
The Bible, which is Truth;
It helps us going down the hill,
And should be taught all youth.

If Bible knowledge is not taught
In homes nor week-day schools,
Whenever will that glad time sought
When all the world it rules?

Let all support Powers that fought
To make it a fast rule
The BIBLE must henceforth be taught
In every class of school.
