THE FLAG PROCESSION

The tree stands in the meadow bare

And waves his Summer wand,

And o’er the meadow comes along

A marching coloured band.

The Orange flag sways here and there

Across that crowded spot;

The west wind loads his hissing gun

And welcomes with a shot.
