COMING OF WINTER
O’er the hilltops dark and dreary,
O’er the snow-capped, distant mountains,
Wrapped and covered in his furskins,
In his white and frozen furskins,
Comes old winter roaring loudly;
On before him comes the wild-goose,
With his cry of desolation
Ringing through the misty heavens.
