Artibrannan, pronounced Arto-bran-nan meaning the height or hill of Branan’s house.  It is situated 2½ miles N.N.W. of Ballymena and 1 mile E.S.E. of Cullybackey, in the barony of Lower Toome, and contains 112 acres 2 roods and 11 perches.
