THE FOUR SEASONS

THE FOUR SEASONS

Have you ever walked through the fresh spring air?
When the wind was cold and the trees were bare
The landscape looked so damp and grey
Better weather to come the weathermen say
Have you ever walked through the summer sun?
Enjoyed its beauty when a day’s work was done
The smell of the flowers and the birds sweet song
What happy memories as life moves on
Have you ever walked the Autumn haze?
And looked out over the fields of maize
With the leaves now turning to red and gold
It’s a sight for everyone to behold
Have you ever walked through the winter snow?
Through the frost and the ice we all have to go
With days that are short and nights that are long
Four seasons were with us and now they are gone
Have you ever walked with the Lord by your side?
He’ll keep us safe through life’s ebbing tide
No evil we fear while on Him we depend
He has promised to keep us right up to the end.
